A police complaint has been filed against Indian boxer Vijender Singh for 'insulting' national flag of India during his maiden WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title bout against Australian Kerry Hope at the Thyagaraj Stadium on Saturday.
A resident of Vasundhara Enclave, Ullhas PR, has filed the complaint against the 30-year-old in New Ashok Nagar Police station. The complainant has accused Vijender of disrespecting the Indian national flag by wearing tricolour shorts.
