Apple Music app for Android has finally made an exit from the 'Beta' version. Launched in June 2015, the app now sits at version 1.0 and packs some Android-only features.

The Apple Music app update on Android adds equalizer settings, allowing users to take better control of their music. "This update includes equalizer settings and a variety of performance, playback, and stability improvements," says the official changelog. The updated app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The app first arrived on Android in November 2015.

In May, the Cupertino giant announced a new plan for its Apple Music streaming service to boost its subscriber list. The company introduced the Apple Music Student plan, which gives 50% discount on the service to students from select colleges and universities. So far, the plan is not available to Apple Music users in India.
