World’s largest LED screen would be installed to project Haryana’s glorious journey of development and cultural programmes at the inaugural function of Haryana Swarna Jayanti celebrations at Gurugram on November 1.
The LED screen, which measures 220 by 34 feet, would be installed at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, and the programmes shown on the screen would also be broadcast across the State, said a spokesman of the District Administration, Gurugram.
He said that a grand stage measuring 170 by 70 feet was being constructed at the venue, apart from bulletproof cabins for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who would be the chief guest on the occasion, and other VVIP guests.
Those persons who reach the venue without invitation card or entry card, would be seated in the cricket pavilion of the stadium, where they could also watch the programme on a separate LED screen.
The spokesman said that security arrangements were being made at the venue, and 20 IPS officers had been deputed for ensuring security and traffic management at the venue. Besides, monitoring was being done through 300 CCTV cameras.
