Government School's student to get milk with Mid-Day-Meal in Haryana


Haryana Government on Thursday announced to serve 200 gram milk three days in a week to the students to make the mid-day meal being given to them more nutritious.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal made this announcement while addressing the party workers in Fatehabad. He said, with this, the students in Government schools will be provided with more nutritious diet.

He said that nutritious food would be served to the students so as to ensure their proper physical development and added that they would be given 200 gram milk from April 2017 onwards on which a sum of Rs 83 crore per year would be incurred.
He also hoped that the Haryana would soon surpass Punjab in term of milk production and become number one state in the country in this field.
