Haryana Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj said on Thursday
made an announcement that the farmers in the state will be provided an
e-procurement facility to sell their crops.
Efforts would be made to complete all formalities before the procurement season of paddy, he said in a statement.
A meeting of commission agents has been convened in Kurukshetra on August 22 to discuss various aspects of e-procurement, the minister said.
The facilities to be provided to farmers and commission agents would also be discussed in the meeting, he added.
