In a clear message to haters that nobody can mess with him, Dalip Singh Rana popularly known as Khali thrashed foreign wrestlers, who ransacked his academy, with iron rod in a Panipat hotel.
It is to be noted, that some wrestlers on Saturday created a ruckus and vandalised property that belonged to the Great Khali in the wake of the cancellation of a wrestling-entertainment show that was slated to be held at Gurugram's Tau Devi Lal Stadium.
Khali beaten two foreign wrestlers including Brody Steele with an iron rod in a hotel room in Panipat.
It is to be mentioned that a wrestling-entertainment show is scheduled to be held in Panipat on October 12 in which several wrestlers from other countries will participate.
The wrestlers had come from abroad and wanted to meet Khali. Sources told ETV that they were annoyed over being denied permission and a scuffle broke out. They damaged the property of Khali's academy in Jalandhar.
It was learnt that a few women wrestlers also vented out their anger in the process.
The slated October 8 event at Tau Devi Lal Stadium to promote the sport in the country was cancelled. The cancellation is the fallout of a dispute between the organisers and the ticket distributor company.
