HARYANA VILLAGE TO BE NET LINKED IN HARYANA AND RECRUITMENT FOR 50000 JOBS

Every village in Haryana would be net-linked next year, recruitment is being done for 50,000 jobs purely on the basis of merit, and cashless transactions will be incentivised to slam the door shut on corruption in the state, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said.
Addressing public meetings at Pehowa in Kurukshetra, and at Mandi Dabwali in Sirsa, he slammed the previous governments at Pehowa for discriminating against different areas in matters of development to serve vested political interests, he said the then ruling parties used people just as a ‘vote bank’ and worked to divide people along caste and regional lines.

But the present BJP Government belongs to all and believes in development without any regional bias. In a democratic set-up, Government should work for the welfare of all people irrespective of the party they owed allegiance to, the Chief Minister said.
"Today I have completed tours of 86 Assembly constituencies and the remaining four would be covered by December 25. The about 4,000 announcements I have made so far and those likely to be made up to December 25, would be executed within the next year," he added.

Referring to the mantra of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, “Na Khaunga, Na Khaane Dunga” (neither will I take bribe, nor will I let anyone take bribe), Khattar said that both the Central and State Governments were working to check corruption at all levels.

As corruption flourishes with cash transactions, the Prime Minister has taken the significant decision to demonetise old high-denomination currency. If online payment system is adopted, officials would not be able to accept bribe. The State Government is working to incentivise cashless transactions and  he urged the people to support this effort.

The Chief Minister announced several welfare projects worth crores of rupees, including `15 crore for development of the rural areas of Pehowa Assembly constituency and `5 crore for the urban areas. The Patiala-Haridwar National Highway, which would pass through Pehowa, would be four-laned. A 50-bedded hospital would be set up in Saraswati Khera village. He announced `11 crore for laying of sewerage system in Ismailabad and construction of science block in Degree College.

Saraswati Tirath would be developed by the Haryana Saraswati Heritage Development Board, and it would be linked with Krishna Circuit to give it a major boost as a tourist destination. The Ismailabad panchayat would be developed as a Municipal Committee provided that village panchayat passes a resolution.
Addressing a public meeting at Mandi Dabwali, the Chief Minister said his Government was committed to providing high-speed internet services in all villages of the state within next year.

Announcing a medical college for Sirsa, he said that colleges would be opened to ensure that girls were not required to travel more than 20 kms. Vishwakarma Skill Development University has been set up in Faridabad to impart training in 800 courses to the youth.

Khattar said the State Government was committed to putting a check on corruption and had brought most services online so that people were not required to visit government offices again and again. This has also reduced the scope for corruption. Besides, gram sachivalayas would be set up in 1,000 villages next year out of  which 600 have already been opened, he added.
